Motorola CLIQ listed for free on contract at T-Mobile, $400 straight-up

We'll caution you -- this could all just be one big misunderstanding (or a case of the fat fingered admin), but Motorola's newly launched CLIQ is currently listed for $0.00 on contract over at T-Mobile (and $399.99 with no strings attached). Available in both Winter White and Midnight Titanium, the outfit's first-ever Android phone can't actually be added to one's cart (trust us, we tried... repeatedly), but if these figures are right, we can surely say that the barrier to entry on higher-end smartphones will soon be demolished. Giddy yet?
Update: Aw, seems like someone on the other end already caught wind of the slip-up and yanked it. So, can we take that as confirmation?

How much is T-Mo's early termination fee? It sounds like an easy opportunity to sign up, terminate, and unlock it and possible get it on AT&T for under $200.
How hard are Android phones to unlock?

Probably as easy as paying someone $20 and giving them the IMEI

Maybe to good to be true..
In fact, yes, if you consider limited applications when compared to other smartphone os'.
Looks like a great phone. But I would like to see Tmo get real on their prices for old standard smartphones like the Dash 3G for starters. Loyal (out of contract) customers like myself should be forced to pay $169 for a so-so no touch smartphone. Not especially when new subscribers can get for $49.

If this is anywhere close to the actual price... The HTC tattoo is coming off(dead)....
If HTC doesn't update the Tattoo screen specs... Who is gonna want such a gimped up phone... When this phone is available for a reasonable price... The only thing that might keep me from going with the Moto Cliq is Rosie....

its like the iPhone, if you get it to TMobile, 3G is not available. Vice versa...get it? even if you unlock. its hardware band limited.

Hmmm...can buy this out-right for nearly the same price as the Touch Pro 2 ON-CONTRACT on T-Mobile!

I'm thinking this could be right, because it's now $200 to upgrade (if eligible). If your not eligible (like me) they tell you your getting a "partial discount" and with taxes and everything it will be $389.99 or something around there. The full retail price is $420-ish. Also maybe thats why the pre-sale is just for current customers.
